Lake Cumberland Computers has worked from Russell Springs since 2001 — through dial-up, Windows XP, the cloud, and everything currently trying to phish your front office.

In 2001, Louis Stargel started fixing computers for the people of Russell County. The work was simple then — dead hard drives, dial-up trouble, the occasional virus with a silly name. The promise was simple too: do good work, charge a fair price, and be here tomorrow.
25years later the technology is unrecognizable and the promise hasn't moved an inch. What started as one person is now Louis and a small team of technicians. What started as house calls now includes the offices that keep this region running — county and city government, medical practices, and small businesses across six counties.
We never stopped doing house calls, though. We just made them better: flat rates published online, appointment times you pick yourself, payment handled before we arrive, and a confirmation in your inbox. Your grandmother's computer gets the same technicians the courthouse gets.
